Waitlist

Two customers want the same item, the first one goes quiet, and the second one has left by then.

On a good live, the same item is asked for several times. The first customer by comment time gets it; the others are not lost, they join the waitlist with the size and quantity they asked for. If the first one does not confirm in time or cancels, the item moves on its own to the next customer, who hears about it on WhatsApp.

Comment order The list is ordered by the comment’s timestamp on the platform. Promotion does not make a request “younger”: the reservation taken from the list keeps the time of the original comment.
The list, in the cockpit For every item and size you see who is waiting, in what order and since when, plus how many pieces are free.
Demand, in the live report The report after the live shows how many requests stayed on the waitlist: the signal that the item deserved more stock.

How it works

  1. The item is already reserved

The next comment for the same item and size joins the list, with its position, instead of getting lost.

  2. The reservation is released

When the first customer does not confirm within the reservation window or cancels, the stock comes back and the list is checked at once.

  3. The next customer gets the item

The first one on the list whose quantity fits gets the reservation and the “it’s available again” message on WhatsApp, with a text you edit.

What it does not do

  • It does not hold an item for someone who did not ask: only comments with buying intent and a recognised code or item join the list.
  • It does not split a request: if a customer asked for two and one is released, the item goes to the next customer on the list whose quantity fits.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the first customer have before the item moves on?

As long as the reservation window in your rules; 24 hours by default, with a reminder before expiry. You change it in Settings.

Can I hand the item over manually?

Yes. In the cockpit, the hand-over button gives it to the next customer on the list when there is free stock, and you can remove an entry you no longer want.

Does the customer know she is on the list?

The cockpit shows every customer’s position. On WhatsApp, the customer gets a message when the item is released for her; if she is already in the conversation and asks for another size that is sold out, the bot also tells her the position.
