Claim codes

You show dozens of items on a live and lose track of what sold, and to whom.

On a live with many items, “I’ll take it” does not say which one. A claim code does. Every item gets a short number you show on camera; the customer writes it in the comments, “103” or “I’ll take 103 M”, and the reservation lands on exactly that item and size, in comment order. You can work with codes, with the item on camera, or both.

From 101 up Codes are assigned automatically, in order, never repeated. A short code is easy to read on camera and easy to type in the comments.
Code, size, quantity “103 M”, “sold 103”, “I’ll take 103 x2”: the parser reads the code, the size and the quantity from the same comment and reserves exactly the variant asked for.
A new item mid-live Add an item during the live with just a price; it gets the next free code and can be claimed straight away.

How it works

  1. Items get codes

When you add a product or import your catalogue, each product gets the next free code. Unique pieces have a single row with quantity 1.

  2. You show the code on camera

On a tag, on a card, or out loud. If you also work with “the item on camera”, an “I’ll take it” without a code goes to the item being shown right now.

  3. The comment reserves the item

The first customer by comment time gets the item; the next ones go on the waitlist, with the size and quantity they asked for.

What it does not do

  • It does not reserve on questions: “how much is 103?” or “is 103 still there in M?” does not lock the item.
  • It does not guess the item from a description (“the red dress from before”); without a code or an item on camera, the comment reserves nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose how customers claim?

Yes. In Settings you choose whether customers claim by code or by the item on camera, by code only, or by the item on camera only.

What happens when a customer writes only “I’ll take it”, without a code?

If you also work with the item on camera, the reservation goes to the item shown at that moment. If you work with codes only, the comment reserves nothing and stays in the capture log with its decision.

Do codes work for products with sizes?

Yes. The code belongs to the product, and the size comes from the same comment (“103 M”); colour too, if you set it up as a variant axis. The reservation locks exactly the variant asked for.
