You sell the same item twice, once on the live and once on the website.
Live stock is not inventory stock. It is the stock of right now, with the reservations of right now. LiveShopia keeps operational stock per variant: reserved at the comment, released at expiry, consumed at shipping. Your inventory software stays the accounting truth; we keep the order during the live.
How it works
Define the axes
Size, colour or whatever makes sense for you, with the synonyms customers actually write.
A reservation locks the variant
At the comment, in comment order. If there is no stock left, the customer joins the waitlist.
Expiry releases
An unconfirmed reservation releases the stock at expiry and promotes the next on the list.
Shipping consumes
Stock goes down when the parcel is scanned and leaves, not when it is promised.
What it does not do
- It does not keep inventory books: receipts, suppliers and stocktakes stay in your software.
- It does not sync stock with your website or inventory yet; the connector is in progress.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when I sell the same item on the website and on the live?
Until inventory sync ships, the stock in LiveShopia is what you declare for the live. After connecting, availability is inventory minus active reservations, and on overbooking the newest reservation without a sent cart loses.
Can I have items without a size?
Yes. Unique pieces have a single row with quantity 1 and their claim code.
Pricing: a small subscription plus a price per processed order; a refused parcel counts as an order. Figures are announced at the commercial launch; during the pilot the app is free. Pricing
