Parcels come back and you pay shipping twice.
Cash on delivery sells. Cash on delivery also gets refused. LiveShopia does not tell you to drop it; it gives you rules: a deposit only where needed, a trust level computed from each customer’s history, and a block for those who refused too often. You set the rules once.
How it works
Choose your cash-on-delivery profile
No deposit and direct confirmation, a fixed deposit, a percentage, or a deposit for new customers only. The onboarding presets start from your case.
The bot applies the rule in the conversation
Where a deposit is needed, it asks for payment to your IBAN and for proof through a photo or an “I paid” button. Without a deposit, it confirms directly.
History raises or lowers the level
Every delivered or refused parcel changes the customer’s level. Three refusals switch her to prepayment.
Block manually when needed
A blocked customer no longer gets cash on delivery, and the reason stays in her file, visible only to you.
What it does not do
- It does not guarantee delivery and does not verify the customer’s identity.
- There is no blacklist shared between sellers: a customer’s data stays with the seller she bought from, as GDPR requires.
- It does not process card payments yet; deposits are paid by transfer, with proof.
Frequently asked questions
How much deposit should I ask for?
It depends on your refusal rate and the cost of a round-trip shipment. The deposit calculator shows the amount from which a refusal no longer costs you.
Can I ask a deposit from new customers only?
Yes. The “deposit for new customers” profile asks for a deposit on the first order and confirms customers with a good history directly.
What does a blocked customer see?
Only that her order is paid in advance. The reason is never shown to her and never shared.
Does a refused parcel count as an order?
Yes, in pricing. A processed order is a processed order, so we never have an interest in hiding your refusals.
Pricing: a small subscription plus a price per processed order; a refused parcel counts as an order. Figures are announced at the commercial launch; during the pilot the app is free. Pricing
