The guides for the Romanian market (cash on delivery, couriers, e-invoicing, sole trader or company) are written in Romanian: Ghiduri pentru cine vinde pe live.
Glossary
“Sold” (in the comments)
“Sold” is the comment a customer writes on a live to claim an item, usually together with the item’s code (“sold 103”); the first one to write it gets the item, and the next ones go on the waitlist.
AWB
An AWB (air waybill) is the transport document of a parcel: a unique number created in your courier account, used to hand over, track and, for cash on delivery, settle the parcel. Romanian couriers and sellers use the word for the shipping label.
Cash on delivery (ramburs)
Cash on delivery, “ramburs” in Romanian, means the customer pays the courier when the parcel arrives, and the courier transfers the collected amount to you at settlement, under your contract. If the customer refuses the parcel, you collect nothing and the parcel comes back to you.
Cash-on-delivery statement (borderou)
A cash-on-delivery statement, “borderou” in Romanian, is the settlement document the courier sends you: the list of delivered cash-on-delivery parcels, one per AWB, with the amounts collected and the transfer to you.
Claim code
A claim code is the short number every item shown on a live carries (from 101 up); the customer writes it in the comments to reserve exactly that item, and reservations follow comment order.
Deposit on cash on delivery
A deposit on cash on delivery is the amount paid in advance, by transfer, on an order paid at delivery; it covers the shipping cost if the parcel is refused and is asked from everyone, or only from new or risky customers.
Live selling
Live selling is selling during a live broadcast on TikTok, Instagram or Facebook, where customers reserve items in the comments and the order is completed outside the platform, usually on WhatsApp, paid at delivery or by transfer.
Scanned parcel
A scanned parcel is a parcel verified at packing by scanning each item’s code so the wrong size or product never ships; only after verification is the label printed and the invoice issued.
Waitlist
The waitlist is the line of customers who asked for an item already reserved; if the first reservation expires or is cancelled, the next customer gets the item automatically, in comment order.
WhatsApp cart
The WhatsApp cart is the message through which a customer receives, on WhatsApp, the items reserved from the live and confirms delivery and payment from buttons, without an account or a website.
