An AWB (air waybill) is the transport document of a parcel: a unique number created in your courier account, used to hand over, track and, for cash on delivery, settle the parcel. Romanian couriers and sellers use the word for the shipping label.
When a Romanian seller says she is “doing the AWBs”, she means creating the shipments in the courier’s platform, with the address, phone and cash-on-delivery amount, and printing the labels. The AWB number is what the customer uses to track the parcel.
